Virginia Tech men's basketball coach Buzz Williams has gone the junior college route to corral his latest recruit for the class of 2014.

Shane Henry, a 6-foot-8 forward, is headed to Tech, according to Jon Rothstein of CBSSports.com. Henry (@Tallguyy_Henry on Twitter) will come to Tech from Georgia Perimeter College, a junior college with several campuses in suburban Atlanta.

He'll be immediately eligible to play at Tech, where he'll be a junior. Henry also has a redshirt season available.

Last season, he averaged 13.2 points, 12.5 rebounds and 4.7 blocks per game. He played in high school at Newton High in Covington, Ga.
