"No Vince Young?
No problem.
Even with their quarterback knocked out of the game midway through the first quarter with a sprained knee, the Titans embraced a starring role on Monday Night Football, bludgeoning Jacksonville 30-3 with Kerry Collins in the role of relief pitcher.
"That's why Kerry's here," Titans Coach Jeff Fisher said.
Although there was no final word on the extent of Young's injury, it does not appear to be serious.
But the situation could be complicated by a short work week before the Titans play at
home against Philadelphia on Sunday.
Coupled with the 34-27 victory at Dallas last week, it marked the first time this season the Titans have put together back-to-back wins. It also made the Titans a 3-0 in road games.
"It's good to win two in a row," offensive tackle Michael Roos said. "Things tend to snowball, whether it's winning or losing so maybe this gets us going on a good streak."
It also means things are markedly different than this point in the season last year."
