Minnesota Vikings coach Leslie Frazier put an early end to all the drama Friday when he announced that Peterson would miss his second straight game with a high ankle sprain.

Peterson suffered the injury during the Vikings' Week 11 loss to the Oakland Raiders and has not practiced in the two weeks since the injury. Frazier told reporters Peterson has improved, although his cutting on the ankle is still an issue."
