The Vikings made the mistake twice in the third quarter Sunday, and Hester made them pay.

He took a kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown, his 16th career kick-return TD. He saw a small hole behind blocks by Matt Spaeth and Kyle Adams and exploded through it en route to the end zone. Hester sidestepped kicker Ryan Longwell, the last player in his path, without much effort.

The next time the Vikings had a chance to punt to Hester, they didn't try to kick away from him. He licked his chops again and almost broke free, returning the punt 27 yards."
