"Eden Prairie police ticketed Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson on Monday for not wearing his seat belt while driving a white Land Rover, Eden Prairie Police Department spokesman Katie Beal said today.

Peterson was one of more than 30 drivers stopped in the area during a four-hour statewide "Click It or Ticket" push. Officers spotted Peterson at 3:03 p.m. at the corner of Prairie Center Drive and Columbine Road and issued him a $25 citation that can cost up to $100 after administrative fees. Officers did not pull over Peterson for any other reason, Beal said. "
