"Barring a setback, Eagles head coach Andy Reid expects Michael Vick to be the team's starting quarterback in a little over a week when the Birds travel to Miami to play the Dolphins.
Reid said he expects Vick, who has been sidelined with a rib injury, to practice beginning on Monday.
Wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (hamstring) is also improving and Reid expects him to practice on Monday and play next Sunday.
In other injury news, special teams monster Colt Anderson has a torn ACL and is out for the season. He will have surgery next week.
Cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha suffered a concussion against the Seahawks. Meanwhile, King Dunlap is recovering from his concussion.
Reid said that Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (high ankle sprain) is also improving.
The big news, however, is that Vick appears to be on his way back. Vince Young struggled mightily against the Seahawks. Young threw four interceptions, including one on the Eagles' first offensive play.
"You can't start the game with a turnover," Reid said on Friday. "That's not what you strive to do. And that's my job to put Vince in a spot where there's not that type of adjustment. That's a negative on my part.""
