"The pieces of a formidable rotation are in place. Javier Vazquez, one of baseball's most durable right-handers, signed a one-year contract with the Marlins. The announcement came on Thursday, after both sides agreed to terms over Thanksgiving weekend. Vazquez completed a physical on Wednesday in South Florida before the Marlins announced the signing. Vazquez will earn $7 million, and he has a full no-trade clause. Another stipulation in the contract is the Marlins also agreed not to offer Vazquez salary arbitration after the 2011 season."
