Kyle Whittingham and the Utah football program announced some unfortunate news Feb. 24, offering their "thoughts and prayers" to the family of Ute defensive lineman Moana Ofahengaue, who had suffered a serious head injury in a motorized bike accident and was then in critical condition.

Two weeks later, Ofahengaue had a much more positive announcement to make himself, telling local Fox 13 TV that his condition has been upgraded from critical to good and that's he already able to walk.

"[I'm] definitely ready to go home,” he said. “The doctors are saying they don't know if they want to suggest ever going back to head-to-head contact, but I'll definitely be back soon."
