USC linebacker Cameron Smith will return for his senior season rather than enter the NFL draft.

Smith announced his decision Wednesday in a post on his Instagram accouunt.

“I’m honored to wear this cardinal and gold for one more year!” Smith wrote, attached with a picture of himself kneeling in the end zone prior to last month’s Cotton Bowl.

Smith led the Trojans with 112 tackles as a junior. He also had a team-high 83 tackles as a sophomore in 2016.

He was also one of four team captains and its middle inside linebacker.
