There is a new No. 1 as far as college football’s class of 2015 is concerned.

On Tuesday afternoon, 5-star quarterback and USC commit Ricky Town topped 247Sports’ latest recruit rankings, per 247Sports’ Barton Simmons.

The Ventura, Calif., native jumped up two spots from his previous No. 3 ranking. Former No. 1 and 5-star defensive end Canton Kaumatule dropped five spots to No. 6.

Town—who flipped from Alabama to the Trojans last month after offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier left the Tide for the University of Michigan—is certainly deserving of the honor.

A U.S. Army All-American, Town’s junior season at St. Bonaventure was plagued by injuries. However, he was impressive in his sophomore season back in 2012, throwing for 2,400 yards and 23 touchdowns while rushing for another 180 yards and two scores.
