Sevilla's Alberto Moreno is the latest candidate to replace Patrice Evra at Manchester United.

Reports in Spain suggest that 21-year-old Moreno, who recently made his debut for the Spanish national team, is on United's radar as they look to replace the Frenchman.

According to Estadio Deportivo United are ready to compete with Real Madrid and Chelsea to sign Moreno.

Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido has already stated that Moreno will not be allowed to leave unless someone meets his £25m release clause, and United are trying to decide if such a fee represents good value.

Reports suggest that United will have money to spend in January, with the Spanish paper suggesting that moves for Real Sociedad's Antoine Griezmann and Porto pair Eliaquim Mangala and Nicolas Otamendi are also on the cards.

With Evra fully expected to leave Old Trafford when his contract expires in the summer, United were expected to rekindle their interest in Everton's Leighton Baines, but at 28 years old, doubts remain about whether the England international is the long term solution, particularly given the fee that the Toffees will demand.
