CF football had 31 players named to the American all-academic team.

Players must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0 and completed a minimum of two consecutive semesters, with a total of 18 semester credits not including remedial courses.

UCF owns a Graduation Success Rate of 83 percent, 12 points higher than the national average and second only to Stanford among schools in BCS bowls. The Knights also scored an Academic Progress Rate of 975, 26 points above the national average.
