"Tyler Hansbrough in. Josh McRoberts out.
McRoberts' lack of rebounding put him on the bench in the second half of the Indiana Pacers' 109-94 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday.
"Josh was getting dominated," Pacers coach Jim O'Brien said. "He had one rebound. We needed rebounders in there. I'm going to stick with Roy (Hibbert) because we don't have options. Roy is going to be our starting center. We have options at power forward."
McRoberts had two points and only one rebound in 14 minutes. He has played a total of 30 minutes the past two games.
"Josh has not been playing bad, but I'm not going to walk into the locker room at halftime where we have single-digit rebounds," O'Brien said. "Our starting team had five rebounds at halftime. I needed to try to get something jump-started. Tyler has been on the glass at different times. I needed to do something. I wasn't going to hold back with that group."
Hansbrough made his third appearance in the past seven games. He had four points, two rebounds and an assist in 11 minutes.
O'Brien also replaced Brandon Rush with Mike Dunleavy in the lineup at the start of the third quarter. Rush played 12 minutes in the second half and finished with 16 points on 6-of-13 shooting."
