Cleveland Cavaliers center Tristan Thompson suffered a left calf strain during Wednesday night’s game against the Indiana Pacers and has been ruled out for the remainder of the contest.

Prior to his exit, Thompson played in 21 minutes while getting the start at center for Cleveland. He took a single shot, finishing with two points and seven rebounds, with the team being outscored by 11 points while he was on the floor.

It’s been a slow start to the season for Thompson, who was removed from the starting lineup prior to the start of the season. Coming into the night, he was averaging just 4.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, yet to finish any of the eight games with double-digit points or rebounds.
