Former Michigan guard Trey Burke will be represented by his father, Benji, as he prepares for June’s NBA draft.

Benji Burke confirmed the news Thursday and said Trey will be in Chicago next week for the NBA’s pre-draft camp.

The Burkes will be in a new division of the Infinite Sports Group, a primarily NFL-based agency that was founded by Alonzo Shavers, a cousin of Benji Burke’s.

Infinite has represented athletes for 12 years and among the football clients listed on its website: Chester Taylor, Tyrell Sutton, and Asante Samuel.

Trey Burke interviewed with multiple major agencies before selecting Infinite and was contacted by prominent NBA players during the process.

According to cbssports.com’s Jeff Goodman, Benji Burke got his agent’s license within the past year. Goodman also said Trey Burke was courted heavily by LeBron James’ agent, Rich Paul, and said James even reached out to Burke.
