The Houston Rockets have agreed to a four-year, $32 million deal with free agent small forward Trevor Ariza, according to a person with knowledge of the deal. The person spoke to USA TODAY Sports on the condition of anonymity because the deal had not yet been announced.

Ariza was being heavily courted by the Washington Wizards team that he played for last season but ultimately decided to join Dwight Howard and James Harden on the Rockets team that went 54-28 last season and fell in the first round of the playoffs to the Portland Trailblazers.

The Rockets have until Sunday to decide whether or not to match Chandler Parsons' three-year, $46 million offer sheet from the Dallas Mavericks, and it appears they are still considering doing so.
