Italian giants Juventus are ready to offer £30million Erik Lamela a way out of his Spurs hell - less than six months after he arrived.

Juventus want Tottenham's record signing, and will give up their Montenegrin striker Mirko Vucinic in a part-exchange deal.

Lamela, the name on the biggest cheque written by chairman Daniel Levy as he splashed the cash from his Gareth Bale windfall last summer, has failed to settle at the White Hart Lane club.

The 21-year-old Argentine has made just three Premier League starts following his move from Roma, just 10 in all, and notched his solitary goal in a Europa League win over Moldovan minnows Sheriff.

After failing to impress either Andre Villas-Boas or his successor Tim Sherwood, Lamela fears his place in Argentina's World Cup squad in now under threat.
