Long-time Tottenham target Miralem Pjanic has hinted he will look to extend his stay at Roma as he prepares to enter the final 18 months of his current deal at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Bosnia international has consistently been linked with Spurs over the past two seasons and it was thought that he would follow director of football Franco Baldini to White Hart Lane.

However Baldini instead opted to recruit Erik Lamela from his former club and Pjanic has had a superb start to the season featuring in all six of Roma's Serie A wins so far.

And the 23-year-old whose current contract expires in 2015 admits he is thinking about his long-term future - although he insists he is fully committed to Roma.
