Tottenham have joined Inter Milan in the race to sign Manchester United winger Luis Nani on-loan for the rest of the season.

Spurs boss Tim Sherwood is desperate to add to his options before the close of the window, and Portuguese attacker Nani has emerged as a top target.

United are open to allowing the player to leave for the remainder of the campaign, but Sherwood faces competition from Inter Milan to get his man.

The Italian club have offered to cover all his wages during the loan period, but Spurs hope the fact they’re willing to offer a loan fee could sway the balance.
