Tottenham Hotspur have slapped a £6.5 million price tag on star striker Jermain Defoe, according to The Times.

The England international has seen little playing time since the arrival of Roberto Soldado, and has yet to register the first Premier League goal of the season.

This has led to speculations linking him with a January move away from White Hart Lane, with West Ham United and QPR reportedly keen.

And it appears Tottenham are ready to cash in on the long-serving forward, having placed a £6.5 million price tag on his services.
