"One player has stood out in these first two pre-season games for the Cowboys.
Felix Jones is clearly in regular season form. The running back picked up 56 yards on seven carries with an impressive display of outside quickness and power running between the tackles. He made defenders miss him in the backfield to turn losses into gains and picked up a block on a blitz that allowed quarterback Tony Romo to complete a pass to tight end Jason Witten.
"I've never seen him more explosive or quicker than he has been in this camp,'' Romo said. "He has also taken it up a notch with his understanding of the game."
