"Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez is having a 1,000th Catch Twitter Contest with the winner earning the autographed game glove and a trip for two to Atlanta to re-enact the catch with Gonzalez.

Gonzalez needs just one catch for his 1,000 career receptions. That will likely happen early in the Falcons' season-opener at Pittsburgh on Sept. 12.

Gonzalez is sponsoring the contest along with his all-natural sports nutrition company All Pro Science.

"Joining the 1,000 catch club is an exciting moment in my career and I am looking forward to celebrating with one of my loyal fans," said Gonzalez, all-pro tight end for the Atlanta Falcons and co-founder of All Pro Science, Inc. in a release. "I am extremely lucky to still be playing the game of football, and I attribute the success to my healthy lifestyle and the encouragement I get from my fans."
