"There is no question in Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville's mind that the Central is the toughest division in hockey.

Quenneville and the Hawks got a harsh reminder of just how tough Saturday night when they came out in tatters after the Predators throttled them 5-2 throttling before a crowd of 17,113 at Bridgestone Arena.

Compounding matters was an injury to Hawks' captain Jonathan Toews. He left in the second period with an upper-body injury and did not return.

"We'll know more over the next day or so. We'll say day to day," coach Joel Quenneville said afterward."
