Are the Tennessee Titans finally running out of patience with Kenny Britt?

On Sunday Britt served as the third receiver when he was on the field for a good part of the game. Granted Britt was out last week with sore ribs and a sore neck so the Titans could have been easing him back and preferring to use Kendall Wright and Nate Washington as their primary receivers on normal sets.

But it sounds as though offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains' frustrations with Britt are beginning to boil over. Against the Chiefs Britt had one catch for nine yards among the six passes thrown his way by Ryan Fitzpatrick. At least two or three of those six passes were catchable balls.

“We're gonna have to reassess everything at this point. We'll evaluate after we watch the tape” Loggains said. “Obviously I'm not gonna hide anything. He had probably three drops in the game. The one that bothered me most was when it was 17-13 and you've got third and 2 and you've got to make that play. We dropped the ball and it puts you in a tough spot. We were moving the football. We had kind of flipped the field again and that hurt us.”

Loggains was asked if Britt's potential only gets him so many chances and he replied “Potential just means you haven't done anything.”
