Titans running back DeMarco Murray has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars.

Murray suffered a knee injury against the Rams, and hasn’t practiced all week.

“We’re going to put him (as) out for the game,” Titans coach Mike Mularkey said of Murray.

Murray ran for 48 yards on 15 carries against the Rams before suffering the injury. On the season, Murray has 659 yards and six touchdowns on 184 carries. He’s fourth on the team in receptions this season with 39 catches (for 266 yards and a touchdown).

Mularkey said running backs Derrick Henry and David Fluellen will carry the load on Sunday. Mularkey said the Titans “are talking about” promoting running back Khalfani Muhammad from the practice squad. The team has no plans to put Murray on Injured Reserve, Mularkey said.

On the season, Henry has 693 yards and five touchdowns on 148 carries. He’s caught 10 passes for 70 yards on the season.
