"Titans Coach Mike Munchak downplayed the likelihood of signing Terrell Owens, even as agent Drew Rosenhaus tweeted Wednesday that the veteran wide receiver was healthy and ready to work out for teams.
Owens suffered a knee injury last season with the Bengals and had surgery in the offseason.
During his weekly radio show on Tuesday, Munchak said that if Owens was healthy and "if he has a way of helping our team win, then for sure you're going to take a look at him."
After practice on Wednesday, Munchak said the Titans had no specific plans to look at Owens, but didn't rule out the possibility of adding another wide receiver at some point.
The Titans signed Donnie Avery on Sept. 28 after losing Kenny Britt (knee) for the season, but Avery's snaps have been limited so far."
