"Thanks to the NFL lockout, the Titans had no offseason in 2011.
Thanks to the collective bargaining agreement that ended the lockout, offseason work will be a lot more limited in 2012 than it was in previous years.
The Titans aren't scheduled to begin their offseason workout program until April 16 — about a month later than when they started under the old CBA.
And instead of the 14 days of organized team activities regularly spread over the offseason, teams are now restricted to 10 days of such work. That means the Titans will conduct most of their on-field work in June, with fewer days in May.
Despite the reduced calendar, Coach Mike Munchak said offseason work would do nothing but help his team.
"A guy working out by himself somewhere is not near as strong as a guy working out with five or six guys; it's just how it is," he said. "I think certain positions get affected more so than others. … It makes a difference.""
