It's possible that the vocal, emotional and highly successful Tennessee Titans defensive line coach might be heard at a different locale this fall.

According to multiple reports, Washburn is talking to the Philadelphia Eagles about their opening for a defensive line coach. The Eagles also are in the process of hiring a defensive coordinator.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that a deal between the Eagles and Washburn "appears imminent."

Washburn has been on Jeff Fisher's staff since 1999. In his first year, he helped Jevon Kearse set the NFL record for sacks by a rookie, earn Defensive Rookie of the Year and the first of multiple Pro Bowl invitations."
