Former Miami and North Carolina coach Butch Davis has reportedly agreed to a five-year deal to become FIU's next coach, according to ESPN.
This will be Davis' return to the Miami area after coaching the Hurricanes from 1995 to 2000, where he had a 51-20 record. Davis went to the Cleveland Browns in 2001, where he spent four years before being fired in the 2004 season after accumulating a 24-35 record.
