"Tigers general manager Dave Dombrowski said after Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Seattle Mariners that outfielder Magglio Ordoñez would be recalled today from his injury rehab assignment at Triple-A Toledo and activated from the 15-day disabled list.

To make room for Ordoñez, right-hander Enrique Gonzalez was sent to the Mud Hens.

Manager Jim Leyland said he had not decided on a lineup for today's makeup game against the Tampa Bay Rays at Comerica Park, so there's no guarantee Ordoñez will play right away.

Ordoñez hit .297 in nine games with the Mud Hens, including two home runs, two walks and nine strikeouts in 37 at-bats."
