Miguel Cabrera hears you, Tigers fans, even if he admits — with that shy smile — that those raucous "M-V-P" chats every time he steps into the box are "weird."

To the rest of the Tigers, though, it'll only be weird if Cabrera doesn't win the MVP.

Actually, the way they're talking, it wouldn't be weird. It'd be grand larceny.

"Bull (expletive)," ace Justin Verlander barked late Wednesday night, when asked about his opinion about some analysts who would pick Mike Trout even if Cabrera wins the Triple Crown. "That's ridiculous. When was the last time there was a Triple Crown winner, '67? OK."

Verlander then paused, and shook his head.
