The Detroit Tigers are down to 25 players in camp after cutting a pair of relief pitchers Thursday morning.

Well, 25 healthy players anyway.

The Tigers assigned right-hander Jhan Marinez and left-hander Blaine Hardy to minor league camp Thursday. That leaves the Tigers with seven relief pitchers, including Evan Reed and Luke Putkonen.

The roster is not necessarily finalized, because the Tigers could still make a move this weekend. But here is how it stands right now:

Pitchers: Justin Verlander, Max Scherzer, Anibal Sanchez, Rick Porcello, Drew Smyly, Joe Nathan, Joba Chamberlain, Al Alburquerque, Phil Coke, Ian Krol, Evan Reed, Luke Putkonen

Position players: Miguel Cabrera, Ian Kinsler, Alex Gonzalez, Nick Castellanos, Alex Avila, Victor Martinez, Torii Hunter, Austin Jackson, Rajai Davis, Bryan Holaday, Andrew Romine, Don Kelly, Tyler Collins

Technically, the Tigers have 28 players in camp, but that number includes Bruce Rondon (elbow), Jose Iglesias (shins) and Andy Dirks (back).
