Thing 1: Brandon Marshall didn't deny reports of discord between himself and third-year cornerback Vontae Davis, but Marshall's answer suggested their problems were short-term and overblown.

"One of the reasons why we're standing here with a 'W' is the guys in our locker room, we hold each other accountable," Marshall said. "Vontae is a special player. He's one of our best players on our team. We look forward to getting Vontae back, hopefully next week."

Davis was left back in South Florida, a source told the Sun Sentinel, because he had not been treating his lingering hamstring injury properly and perhaps not preparing for games the way the coaching staff would prefer. Marshall reportedly confronted Davis about these apparent shortcomings, which set off some level of disagreement."
