There seemed to be a difference of opinion on how much Derrick Rose took on Monday, his first time going all out in a five-on-five scrimmage since tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee last April.

According to head coach Tom Thibodeau, Rose was “doing what he should be doing. He’s focused on his rehab, doing more and more. We just have to be patient. When he’s ready, he’ll go.

“He did what everyone else did. Just a normal practice.’’

Joakim Noah, however, fresh off of his first All-Star Game appearance over the weekend, had a different view of how much Rose participated.

“Just a little bit,’’ Noah said. “Not too much.’’
