Tottenham midfielder Tom Carroll has signed a new contract with the club that will see him stay at White Hart Lane until 2019.

The 24-year-old has progressed through the club's academy set up and into the first team, notching up 54 appearances and scoring three goals after making his senior debut against Hearts in August 2011.

During his time in north London, Carroll has spent time out on loan at Leyton Orient, Derby County, Queens Park Rangers and, most recently, Swansea City during the 2014-15 season.
