Just a couple of days after leaving LSU, two of the four players who transferred out of the Tigers program have found the same, new football home.

Southeastern Louisiana has confirmed that defensive backs Derrick Raymond and Jerqwinick Sandolph have transferred into the FCS program. Because the Lions play at the FCS level, both players will be eligible to play immediately in 2014.

Sandolph played in 12 games during his time with the Tigers, including three in 2013, while Raymond did not see the field at all during his two seasons in Baton Rouge. Both players were three-star members of LSU’s 2012 recruiting class.

Along with Sandolph and Raymond, LSU confirmed this past Wednesday that offensive lineman Derek Edinburgh Jr., linebacker Lorenzo Phillips had decided to transfer out as well. Another LSU transfer, Micah Eugene, has also enrolled at Southeastern Louisiana.

It was confirmed in late December that Eugene, also a defensive back, had decided to leave LSU.
