The Texans' backup quarterback is blunt. Good thing he can take it as well as dish it out.

Heavy criticism has come his way after he completed just eight of 18 passes for 69 yards in relief of Matt Schaub this past Saturday against New Orleans.

If you were in line to criticize him for his play, however, you stood behind at least two people: Texans head coach Gary Kubiak and Leinart himself.

That is one reason Leinart is easy to like. He didn't blame the second-team offensive line or reserve receivers.
