A few iffy reports came on Sunday, claiming that the Houston Texans were kicking the tires on bringing in quarterback Colin Kaepernick. Not only were those reports quickly refuted as an iffy PR tactic by the team, but credible reporters have since said the National Football League franchise hasn’t even contacted the polarizing gunslinger.
Jay Glazer, of FOX, reported that there was a push within the locker room to bring in Colin Kaepernick. But it was only from the players, and not from owner Bob McNair.
For those unaware, McNair has come under a lot of fire the last few weeks. It started with him inferring players are inmates, then apologizing in a way that claims he did not, and is apparently culminating with him willingly letting the season get away from the Texans.
