The NFL has introduced a rule intended to prevent the illegal negotiations between teams and agents that have been going on since unrestricted free agency was implemented.

Starting Saturday, agents and teams can begin negotiations, but they can’t make visits or sign contracts until free agency begins at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
