The Yankees' walking wounded got some mixed results yesterday.
Mark Teixeira sat out last night for the third straight game with an inflamed left wrist, but expects to be back for tonight's series opener against the White Sox in Chicago.
Considering it's the second time the first baseman has had to miss multiple games in the last three weeks with the injury, manager Joe Girardi admitted he is going to have to keep an eye on the situation.
"I am somewhat concerned about it," Girardi said. "I want him to be 100 percent but I can't tell you he's gonna be."
Tex out again, hopes to return tonight
