"NFL and reality TV star Terrell Owens is planning his next move — starring in a sitcom based on his life called "8 & 1? whenever he waves goodbye to his playing career.
The former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver tells The Daily that he's shopping around a TV show in which he would star "opposite actors inspired by his real-life baby mamas and kids."
Owens, who wore #81, tells The Daily: "It's loosely based on my life and my career. I have four kids by three different moms… It will showcase my skills as an actor, which is something I want to do after football."
How soon "after football" comes for Owens is unclear. The 37-year-old athlete had surgery in April to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament, his agent Drew Rosenhaus revealed last week. It was the same knee in which Owens tore his meniscus late last year, when he played with the Bengals. His Bengals contract expired at the end of the season."
