"When Dave McGinnis was named head coach of the Arizona Cardinals in 2000, the first person he called was then-Titans Coach Jeff Fisher.
He had procedural questions, and needed advice. Several years later, when McGinnis was out of a job, Fisher called on McGinnis to be one of his assistants.
So when Fisher was named head coach of the St. Louis Rams earlier this month, it's no surprise he came after McGinnis. McGinnis said it was an easy decision to join him, though he admitted it's tough leaving the Titans after eight seasons.
McGinnis accepted a job as assistant head coach with the Rams earlier this week. The Rams on Wednesday officially announced the move. McGinnis was packing boxes on Wednesday in Nashville."
