"Mark Teixeira left Wednesday's game in the eighth inning, due to a sore right shoulder. Teixeira originally hurt himself Tuesday night, making a diving stop of a third-inning grounder. The first baseman awoke with soreness, but went 1-for-3 before exiting.

"Once I went out for batting practice, I felt it. It just didn't get any better," Teixeira said, though he's "not very concerned" because there's no sharp pain."
