"New Orleans Saints tight end Jeremy Shockey is "doing fine" and recovering at Ochsner from what doctors diagnosed as a seizure, according to teammate Darren Sharper.

Sharper was one of a handful of teammates and staff who visited Shockey after he was taken away by ambulance after suffering seizure-like symptoms in the team's weight room Thursday afternoon following a morning practice.

Sharper, who was was present at the time, said it was scary to watch. He said it was clearly more than cramping and Shockey was struggling for about a minute while trainers helped him. He was up and walking on his power soon after, Sharper said, and later Shockey said he just felt a little light-headed."
