LSU and Florida will play this season after all.

After a heated debate over what to do after Hurricane Matthew forced last Saturday's game to be postponed, the schools reached an agreement with SEC commissioner Greg Sankey to move the game from Florida to LSU and to play Nov. 19 at Tiger Stadium.

Instead of hosting next year's game in Baton Rouge as originally planned, LSU will play at Florida and will again play in Gainesville in 2018 to resume the normal schedule rotation.

Florida athletics director Jeremy Foley said in a statement that his school did not work as a "partner" with LSU in getting the game rescheduled.

Only the teams that play all eight conference games are eligible to play in Atlanta for the SEC Championship.
