Add rookie Tajh Boyd to the list of Jets personnel now making it clear the starting quarterback's job is Geno Smith's to lose.

Boyd, a quarterback the Jets picked in the sixth round three weeks ago, is in Los Angeles for the NFLPA rookie premiere. In an interview with NFL.com's Dan Hanzus on Friday, Boyd echoed comments made Thursday by offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg, who had suggested Smith had the advantage over Michael Vick in the team's quarterback competition.

Only Boyd took things a step further. Here's what he told Hanzus:

"Geno has been pretty much ... he's been the offense. You know, right now, it's his team. But, I mean, at the end of the day, you want to go out there and do everything that's possible to win.
