This weekend, however, their contributions went well beyond showing teammates a good time. Each was a factor in the Jackets' 3-2 overtime win last night against the San Jose Sharks in the Ericsson Globe.
Huselius registered a goal and an assist; Stralman added an assist; and Pahlsson played one of his better games as a Blue Jacket. Even in defeat Friday, the Swedes were among the club's best players.
They combined for two goals, four assists and a plus-3 rating in the two games against San Jose.
"All three of them played very well," general manager Scott Howson said. "They are proud people, and I'm sure they wanted to have a good showing here in Sweden."
Huselius scored a power-play goal in each game. Stralman had two assists while playing on the top defensive pairing with Jan Hejda."
