Jameer Nelson has had just about enough of the Man of Steel.

Nelson was asked who his favorite superhero is. "Well, it used to be Superman," the Orlando Magic point guard said, according to JohnDenton of OrlandoMagic.com. "But not anymore."

Nelson's quip is a reference to, and perhaps a dig at, former teammate Dwight Howard, who earned the nickname Superman during the 2007/08 season for his muscular build; high-flying dunks; and the rising popularity of "Crank That (Soulja Boy)," a hip-hop song whose chorus references the DC Comics hero. Nelson even helped Howard don a Superman cape for one of Howard's jams during the 2008 Sprite Slam Dunk at All-Star Weekend. The nickname stuck, much to the chagrin of former Magic center Shaquille O'Neal, who has the Superman emblem tattooed on his right bicep.
