NBA summer league star and undrafted rookie guard Ian Clark reached a two-year deal with the Utah Jazz his agent Bill Duffy told USA TODAY Sports Wednesday.

Clark came into summer league in Orlando trying to prove he belonged on an NBA team and left summer league in Las Vegas with several teams including the Golden State Warriors Boston Celtics Miami Heat and Portland Trail Blazers interested.

Utah offered the best package including an opportunity to compete for playing time immediately.

"This is what makes this business fun is when you see someone work hard take advantage of their opportunity follow the script and position himself to create an opportunity in the league" Duffy said. "This is a great situation. All the credit goes to Ian."

Clark put on a show with 33 points in Golden State's 91-77 victory vs. the Phoenix Suns in the championship game of the Vegas Summer League tournament Monday.
