"The Broncos have shrunk the field on offense, and while the installation of a more option-friendly attack earned them a win last Sunday, that is their biggest challenge on that side of the ball moving forward.
In 14 quarters since taking over at halftime against San Diego, 37 of Tim Tebow's 45 completions have gone for 20 yards or fewer.
Twenty-six of those completions have gone for 10 yards or fewer, including three for negative yardage.
In his quest to increase his accuracy, Tebow will have to find a way to use more of the field. Defenses, already crowding the line of scrimmage because of Tebow's run threat and the desire to make him throw to beat them, aren't being asked to defend much of the ground left behind the linebackers.
The Broncos created some room to work with their use of the option plays against the Raiders. That worked well, as the Broncos piled up 299 yards rushing and had the Raiders off balance much of the day, especially in the second half."
